Napa Auto Parts opened in Fort McMurray in 1979. In 2002 Brent Usick formed Paramount Parts and purchased the Napa Auto Parts store in Fort McMurray which had three (3) employees and was 3,500 sqft . Shortly after, Brent was awarded the Traction Heavy Duty Parts franchise and expanded the store to 7,300 sqft. This would be only the second store in Canada to combine Napa Auto Parts and Traction Heavy Duty Parts under one roof.
The Fort McMurray location is now the largest single Napa store in North America based on two (2) categories, square footage (37,000 sqft) and sales volume out of over 8,000 stores. Paramount Parts has been recognized in Canada’s Profit 500 magazine for Canada’s fastest growing companies in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 as well as being recognized in Alberta’s Venture magazine for Alberta’s fastest growing companies in 2014 & 2015.
